Back to School (yay!)

I love back to school because that means fall is around the corner! Although it may take longer to feel a weather change here in Houston! It also means an end to the mayhem! By the end of the school year, I'm SICK of routines, but come August, I'm DESPERATE for structure again! This year also sends my youngest to "real" school! Kindergarten! She's been ready for years, and couldn't wait to ride the bus with her big brother and neighborhood friends! She's been the send off and welcome committee at the bus stop since birth!

It's been a busy summer for babies! I've embroidered tons of burp towels with beautiful, classic names like 'Henrietta' and Ruby' to more unique ones like 'Leila' and 'Selah'! Lot's of girls! Gives us hope for the future!!

Intro...

Okay, I'll be honest. I don't know how to make a web-site... YET! I thought I could certainly figure out how to "blog"! I mean, it's just typing and journaling, and posting it to the internet, for ALL to see! I can do that!

I want to use this as a means to show off some of my "wares" that I make; mostly crafty stuff, but now that I have an embroidery machine, my world has gotten BIGGER! I'm not limited to hand painting names on pillows!

The name "EmmaLemmaLou", came from a nickname my husband gave to our first born; Emma Louise. He even made it into a song, but just READING the lyrics, wouldn't do it justice. You'll have to wait til I can figure out how to download a video to this blog! Maybe tomorrow...
